How to fight with envy? Jealousy

Do you ever feel that your abilities are too small to do what God expects from you? Can you feel the envy of the gifts and abilities to other people?

I would remind you a little story in the Bible. One day Jesus taught and gathered a huge crowd. was 5.000 for men and more women and children. listened to Jesus all day, Jesus asked his disciples, "Where shall we buy bread, that had nothing to eat?" And the disciples began to worry that there is no where and for what to buy as much bread. Philip answered, "Two hundred denarii would not buy enough bread for them, even if everyone just got a little bit." And Andrew said, "There is a boy who has five loaves barley and two fish, but what are they for so many? " Imagine for a minute that you're the boy. You took with him five rolls and two fishes. And you're willing to give Jesus everything you have. Then one of the students said, we have only five rolls and two fishes. A boy thinks, but that's all I have. According to Andrzej is far too little.

And Jesus took the the food, prayed and began to give out. Jesus fed thousands of people and asked the students to gather what was left. gathered twelve baskets of food. One basket for each disciple who doubted that he could use as a small gift to meet such great need.

Do you feel that you can not do what God expects from you? Do you feel that your gifts are too small in light of great need? confident that he can use what you have to do your will. Give it everything you got Jesus and trust him.

Jesus told this parable of jealousy. "For the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. Struck the with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. I went out about the third hour he saw others standing idle in the marketplace, so I said to them: You go into the vineyard, and I what to be, you will pay, and they were gone. Again about the sixth and ninth hour he went out and did the same. And he went out about eleven o'clock he found others standing, and said unto them, Why here idle all day long do you stand? They said no one has hired us. He says to them: You go into the vineyard. And when evening came, says the lord of the vineyard to his steward: Call the laborers and give them a payment, and start from last to first. They came then hired at eleven o'clock, and received a penny. And when they came first, they thought, they take more. But they received a penny. Given so much murmured against the householder, saying: These last worked only one hour, and made them equal to us, which we have borne the burden and heat of the day. And he said one of them, 'Friend, I am doing you harm. Do not ugodziłeś with me for a denarius? Take what is yours and go! I want to, because the latter give, as well as you. Did I not allowed to do with what is mine, how do I want? Or, if your eye is envious, because that I am good? " Mat. 20:1-15

sense of history is this. Denar was a very good fee for twelve hours. Those workers would have been totally satisfied with a single penny, if not compared with others. Had they looked at what the landlord had given them, they would be happy.

This story teaches us about the kingdom of God. God is similar to the host and my employees. God is free to distribute blessings as he thinks. God gives each of us more than belongs to us. Focus on the good things you get from God, and you'll be happy.

God is free to distribute the grace, mercy, and other blessings as he thinks. not the way it distributes, as it must look not fair from our point of view. But the way you can overcome jealousy in your life, then focus on the incredible amount of grace that God showed you. Worship God for it, how it works against you.
